My Bone Marrow Transplant

Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional.

Chris was given a mild chemo today to fight GVHD (graft vs host disease).  I asked the nurse if that would also affect the new stem cells and she said no. That baffles me how that is possible but I’m sure the doctors know the art of Science.  Chris managed to use the computer today for social networking and to watch a couple of UK programmes.  Still eats like a bird, he manages to get up for a bit but sleeps most of the time. Those feet still tingle and a rub of Aqueous cream alleviate the pain.

Still at the front cover of the Singapore Post is the breakdown of the MRT last Thursday evening that affected thousands of passengers in between 9 MRT stops. The trains halted and the passengers were stuck in total darkness for an hour.   In Singapore?  Apparently so.
