My Bone Marrow Transplant

Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional.

Another quiet day made special by Skype sessions with both Francesca and Sam. Linds went to Cold Storage on Sixth Avenue to pick up a few things and witnessed a Lion Dance inside the store. She’s posted a picture on her Facebook page.

Dr. James came by to visit as he is in Singapore for a couple of days. It was good to finally meet his brother Andy, also a doctor at SGH and with a daughter at Bristol University. We have lots of visitors in the next few weeks!

Tomorrow we have to be up early because I have to be at the hospital for a check up at 9am. They take blood at 9am and then we wait for the results to come in before we see the doctor, which can take a couple of hours. It should be a breeze because I’m eating well, the rash is hardly noticeable; only thing seems to be a slightly elevated BP but my temperature is normal.
