My Bone Marrow Transplant

Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional.

We went to Din Tai Fung in Marina Bay Sands for Francesca’s birthday lunch. They don’t take bookings for less than 8 people but we only had to wait a few minutes. 2 big servings of Xiao Long Bao dumplings, noodles, fried rice with shrimp, fried rice with pork fillet, spinach with garlic. Heavenly food, most of which I am not supposed to eat! Then to Mozza for Gelati dessert and a walk through Louis Vuitton and she went shopping in Thomas Sabo for a charm bracelet. In LV there was an interesting art exhibition by an Indonesian artist.

Afterwards we went to Bras Basah complex to get 2 more of the TI-Nspire-CX calculators for Sam’s friends. These are required for the IGCSE Maths course Sam and his year start later this year. There is this one little shop which sells them, cash only, and doesn’t have GST refund forms!

Francesca wanted to watch a John Hughes teen movie and chose Sixteen Candles, so I downloaded it and we watched it this evening . A nice day.
