My Bone Marrow Transplant

Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional.

The party finished very late last night so we had a lazy day. I was up at 6:30am chatting to Francesca who was in Calgary airport waiting for her connecting flight to Seattle.

I had arranged with Sam for flowers for Linds. They went out for lunch and then watched Dark Shadows.

After breakfast I secured Luis’ computer by installing OpenDNS server addresses and DNSCrypt, and ran DiskWarrrior on both his and Elcee’s machines to rebuild the directories which were very fragmented.

We went to the Eastin Hotel for Dim Sum lunch, Xiao Long Bao, Cha Siu Bao, eFu noodles with mushrooms, vegetable and shrimp wanton. The old favourites. Then we drove to a Mall close to their home to get Luis a new pair of glasses.

Everyone took a siesta in the afternoon so that we would be awake for the final day’s action in the EPL tonight! But Luis will have to miss it as he has exams tomorrow.
