My Bone Marrow Transplant

Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional.

I woke up today feeling really bad, it felt like there was an iron band around my head and I was very lethargic. At 11:30 Linds noticed I was feeling very hot and we took my temperature, 38.7. She called the hospital who asked “is he shivering”? When she said “No” they said, “Ok, monitor him every hour”. We’ve been taking my temperature every hour and it is back to normal now. But my head still hurts! I suspect I am a bit dehydrated so I am drinking lots of liquid. I don’t feel like eating but I have to when I take my evening drug dosages. I think this is the GvHD getting stronger over the past 3 – 4 days.

This is not what I need so close to going home!
