My Bone Marrow Transplant

Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional.

My feet were quite swollen early today but all the walking and standing during the day has reduced the swelling. We went to S&R for grocery shopping and came home with a Samsung TV. Regular readers of this blog will recall that Sony wanted PHP90,000+ to replace the failed motherboard in our not quite 5 years old Bravia. By paying a little bit more we ended up with an LED 3D TV with WiFi and a Skype camera. Unfortunately we need different screws to fix it to our wall bracket so it won’t be installed until tomorrow evening.

After lunch we went to the National Museum to see The Spoliarium by Juan Luna, a magnificent, massive painting. Half the museum was closed for renovation so entry was free. Then we had a quick tour of Binondo before heading into Intramuros to find a good Halo-halo place, but where we wanted to go was closed so we went to the Sofitel instead. The coffee shop there was also closed for renovation so we ate at Le Bar.
