January 15, 2012 Day +30, Discharged!
So here I am with Linds in the apartment we have rented, my first night outside of hospital since December 7. I had a bad night the last night in the hospital and slept most of the day. I think it was because both Linds and Francesca were flying that day so I was a bit stressed. Needless to say they both arrived at their designations with no problems. Also, when you are being thrown out into a world full of germs when immune suppressed it’s a bit nerve wracking.
Steven drove us from SGH to the apartment and stayed with me while Linds did a bit of essential shopping. We watched the Taiwanese election coverage. It was good to see the incumbent retain power as he has done so much to improve relations with China.
Normally I have trouble sleeping in a new place for the first night so I took a sleeping tablet and slept right through from about 10:30pm to 7:20am; and then a bit more.
I have had to construct a spreadsheet of which drugs get taken on which day at what time. So many different medications, some of which interact, some interact with food, one interacts with milk so cereals for breakfast is a nightmare. Oh, and one medication only gets taken at weekends. How does it know?
